E-reader

About your reading life, what was your first book memory?

At a cabin rental, and taking bodice-rippers off the bookshelf and hid in my bedroom to read them without getting caught.

Hammock in my backyard

BOOKS RECOMMENDED BY ELSIE SILVER

Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren

Why does Elsie love this book?

Elliot was everything, so open, supportive, and sweet. And this book was just so tender and beautiful. I don’t usually love long flashbacks, but this book perfectly does them.

Close Quarters by Kandi Steiner

Why does Elsie love this book?

The angst. The slow burn. The travel! I read this book at a time in my life when I was home with a young child and needed a vacation so badly. This book absolutely transported me.

Darling Venom by Parker S. Huntington

Why does Elsie love this book?

I listened to the audio of this one and could not stop. Sebastian York and Ava Erickson are two of my favorite narrators and this story was just so achey and beautiful. The spice was excellent and the story just felt so complete.

Maestro by Auden Dar

Why does Elsie love this book?

This book HURT so good and I could not stop reading. Total angst fest. And the NYC fine arts scene with classical musicians just felt SO fresh. Beautifully written.
