How to Find New Audiobook Releases on Hoopla
If you love discovering new audiobooks through your library, Hoopla makes it easy — once you know where to look. Here’s a quick step-by-step guide to finding the newest titles added to Hoopla every week and saving them for later.
Step 1: Go to the Advanced Search
Open the Hoopla app or website and click on the Search bar. Then select Advanced Search — this is where the magic happens.
Step 2: Filter for New Audiobook Releases
In the format section, choose Audiobooks.
Next, look for the Release Date filter and select Last 7 Days or Last 30 Days to see what’s been newly added to Hoopla’s catalog.
Step 3: Choose Your Language
If you want only English-language books, select English under the language filter. You can also browse other languages if you’re exploring audiobooks for language learning or bilingual reads.
Step 4: Favorite the Books You Want to Try
Once your results load, scroll through and click the heart icon (or “Favorite”) on any titles that catch your eye. This acts like your personal tag system — perfect for curating your “to-listen” list.
Step 5: Find Your Tagged Books Later
When you’re ready to pick your next audiobook, head back to the main page of Hoopla. Scroll down until you see:
- Recently Borrowed
- Recommended for You
- Recent Favorites
Click More under Recent Favorites to view every title you’ve tagged.
