Personally, this series means so much to me because it was my gateway read to romance. I remember spending a year at a day job binging all things new adult romance over my phone. What a time to be alive!
After you binged the 5 book series, I know you have a question as to what to read next that will fill the hole that these series left you. I got you.
Here are 4 college hockey romance series that you can binge on next!

Series: The Off-Campus (5 Books)
SYNOPSIS:
She’s about to make a deal with the college bad boy…
Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice…even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.
…and it’s going to be oh so good
All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn’t take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn’t going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.
My thoughts:
The Off-Campus series was my gateway read to romance. I have re-read this book a few times and they get better each time. I really love The Mistake the BEST because of the groveling. Yes, there is a spin-off series called Briar U that you should check out.
Series: The Ivy Years (6 books)
SYNOPSIS:
The sport she loves is out of reach. The boy she loves has someone else. What now?
She expected to start Harkness College as a varsity ice hockey player. But a serious accident means that Corey Callahan will start school in a wheelchair instead. Across the hall, in the other handicapped-accessible dorm room, lives the too-delicious-to-be-real Adam Hartley, another would-be hockey star with his leg broken in two places. He’s way out of Corey’s league. Also, he’s taken. Nevertheless, an unlikely alliance blooms between Corey and Hartley in the “gimp ghetto” of McHerrin Hall.
Over perilously balanced dining hall trays and video games, the two cope with disappointments that nobody else understands. They’re just friends, of course, until one night when things fall apart. Or fall together.
All Corey knows is that she’s falling. Hard. But will Hartley set aside his trophy girl to love someone as broken as Corey? If he won’t, she will need to find the courage to make a life for herself at Harkness – one that does not revolve around the sport she can no longer play or the brown-eyed boy who’s afraid to love her back.
My thoughts:
I read this series back in 2016/2017 and it was addictive. Hockey plays a role in each of the books.
Series: Campus Nights (4 Books)
SYNOPSIS
Secretly hooking up with the team captain’s sister was a bad idea.
In my defense, the first time I saw her I didn’t know who she was.
Kind, gorgeous, a little naïve. Ginny brightened my world from day one.
I knew I was no good for her. She was just out of a relationship and I had a reputation for having a new girl in my bed every weekend.
I tried to do the right thing. Honest.
I’m the one who insisted we should be just friends. That lasted about as long as you’d expect.
But Ginny? She’s the best–best friend, best everything.
So yeah, hooking up with the team captain’s sister wasn’t a great idea.
Would I do it again?
In a heartbeat
My thoughts;
The first book in the series is Captain’s sister who happens to be my roommate’s hidden romance. It is friends to lovers and it is high heat.
Series: Moo U Hockey by various authors (11 Books)
SYNOPSIS:
What if Romeo wore hockey skates, and Juliet was raised on a farm next door?
As a life-long Vermonter, there are three beliefs I’ve always held true:
-
Our family farm is everything
-
Hockey is a close second
-
The Todds next door are our sworn enemies
But this season will test everything I stand for.
I have an illicit side job that could cost me my hockey scholarship. And now Maggie Todd knows my secret. She’s waiting for the right moment to use it against me. But every time I face off against her, I learn things I shouldn’t want to know. Like how deeply her competitive streak runs, and how sexy that is. And how easy it is to make her blush… everywhere.
An Adler and a Todd cannot be lovers. Breaking that rule is like pulling a pin on a grenade–everything in my life could blow up. Can we surrender to these feelings… or will our families’ feud make us its next casualty?

SYNOPSIS:
Hockey players are off limits especially … if they’re on your brothers’ team.
The last time Jordan did that, it ended in disaster.
It was easy to promise her brothers she’d never date another one of their teammates again.
Until she meets Jake.
The spark she feels when she spends time with him makes her promise harder and harder to keep.
Surely her brothers would understand breaking this promise if it means following her heart.
Wouldn’t they?
Never sleep with a teammate’s sister.
This is the universal rule of athletes everywhere.
Until he meets Jordan. As soon as Jake sets eyes on her, he wants her.
The goalie’s job is to see missed shots and failed opportunities on the ice.
This is one shot he’s not going to miss, no matter what obstacles get in his way.
